We believe in the unique innovation that only the open source community can provide. D2iQ is committed to providing support and resources contributing to the continued advancement of our shared community, while helping organizations harness the power of this remarkable collective resource.

Building Community

At D2iQ, open source software is a critical part of our mission. We build innovative products that use and integrate open source, we provide world leading support for open source used by our customers, and we often release our software as open source where we want to build communities of users and developers.

Our History with Open Source

From our early days leading the Apache Mesos project, through to today’s participation in the Cloud Native community, we have a long and proud history of supporting and contributing to Open Source communities. We were one of the founding members of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, early contributors to Kubernetes, and continue to participate actively in its projects and SIG’s.

Projects We Created

Engineers from D2iQ led the creation of the Container Storage Interface standard (CSI), were part of the team behind the Helm project, and continue to participate actively in other projects and Special Interest Groups, including Kubernetes, Kubebuilder, SIG API Machinery, Controller Runtime and Cluster API.
