Service discovery and visibility for microservices on DC/OS

In this webinar, we’ll show you how, in 60 seconds or less, HTTP-based microservices can plug directly into Marathon for service discovery by installing linkerd, a service mesh for cloud-native applications. We’ll show how linkerd also gives you top-line metrics (success rates, latency profiles, request volumes) with minimal effort. Finally, we’ll describe how you can extend linkerd’s service discovery to integrate with other systems like Consul, ZooKeeper, and etcd---all without having to change your application.

When building and deploying modern enterprise applications on DC/OS, one of the first decisions you’ll face is how to do service discovery. And once your services are running, the next challenge will be to understand what they’re actually doing. Are your services handling traffic? Are they returning successful responses? Are they responding quickly enough?
